For anyone interested in such things, here is how I make the podcast episodes on this blog.

First though - understand - my goal with this is simply easy of use. This podcast is not intended to be a highly produced thing. I go out to my car during my lunch break, sit there, eat lunch, and record using this very simple setup.

This podcast is built and hosted on micro.blog. This offers a number of advantages.

• The best out-of-the-box book blogging system out there. It has a fantastic Bookshelves function that draws bibliographic data and book covers from a number of different sources. It allows you to create your own custom bookshelves and categories.
• Epilogue - a companion app for micro.blog’s iPhone app. Uses the bookshelf system, but streamlines it a lot
• Wavelength - another companion app, designed to easily create simple podcasts and automatically post them to your micro.blog site. ​
